Bradford White® is pleased to introduce a new Honeywell® WV 8860 Gas Control and Thermopile Pilot System on our residential and light duty commercial atmospheric vent models with inputs of 75,000 BTU/hr. and over. The Honeywell® system is a state-of-the-art microprocessor based control valve that is fully powered by the pilot flame.

     A similar design was introduced with great success last year in Southern California on our Ultra Low NOx products.

     Based on this success and customer demand some of that intelligent technology was incorporated on select models.

FEATURES:

• Intelligent Diagnostics LED
  Display provides real-time status indicator to monitor start-up and assist in troubleshooting (10 LED diagnostic codes).
• Sophisticated Temperature Software
  Constantly monitors water temperature and adjusts burner operation to maintain consistent temperature levels. This helps prevent rapid temperature build-up and results in greater efficiency.
• Piezo Igniter
  No need to open the inner chamber door to light the pilot. A green LED display blinks when the pilot is lit.
• Millivolt Powered
  The thermopile system converts heat energy from the pilot flame into electrical energy to operate the control system. No need for external electricity.
• Separate Water Temperature Well
  Integrated design incorporates a thermowell that provides isolation between a temperature sensor and the surrounding water. There is no need to drain the tank when removing gas valve.
